The Real Girls
The Real Girls is a satirical, sci-fi, audio drama presented in the form of an endless content stream delivered directly inside the audience's own brain. Through a series of media vignettes, the listeners bear witness to the rise and fall of the future's hottest new teen girl group, "The Real Girls," who become overnight sensations after an unexplained neurological incident algorithmically reprograms their personalities to become perpetually marketable no matter the cost. This sardonic dark comedy set to a bubblegum-pop soundtrack challenges our shared concepts of celebrity, humanity, and the capitalistic culture that divides them.

What happens when everyone else is having their sexual awakening and yours won’t get out of bed? With the power of puppets, powerpoints, and prop comedy on her side, Ace is an autobiographical journey into the awkward teenage years of an exasperated asexual as she attempts to tell a coming-of-age story you won’t see in the movies. Now if only her pesky clone would stop getting in the way.
